Damon’s POV
A traitor inside the walls is plotting against your Luna-to-be.
That’s what Lola told me.
The delegation of the League requires tours of the pack, checking of my books, and finishing the “Alpha’s trials” within days. But I know that none of these can keep the title off my head, and they know that full well, too.
My Luna-to-be is the real target of them -- the Alphas on the 13 seats that don’t want to bow to me.
They know they can’t make me mark a random person, and they backed up a step --
I will get the title of The Supreme so long as I announce my choice for a Luna. No mark is required, and no ritual will be done. Meaning nothing substantial needs to change. I can even call off the announcement tomorrow after I claim a random person.
