"Th-that monster. What was that?" I collapsed on the ground.

Nathan put his arms around me and scooped me up. "The Blue Moon. I didn't realize it would have that kind of effect on Alpha Aldric. I've never seen anything like this," he replied.

"He took Destiny. He will kill her," I sobbed. I did everything to protect my sister, but in the end, it didn't matter because now she was gone."

Nathan's grip tightened as he carried me away from the chaotic scene. The air was thick with tension, and my mind raced with fear for Destiny's safety.

"We need to regroup and come up with a plan," Nathan said, determination in his voice. He gently set me down, and we found a secluded spot away from the wreckage caused by Alpha Aldric's unexpected power surge.

I wiped away my tears, trying to regain composure. "What do we do now? How do we stop him?"

Nathan paced back and forth, his brow furrowed in thought. "The Blue Moon's energy has a unique effect on him, but in the morning, it should wear off.
