CHAPTER THIRTY ONE (The Restaurant cont..)

The restaurant was my favorite spot. I didn't have any difficulty in finding myself around. I went straight to the counter and ordered a plate of noodles and a bottle of orange fruit juice. Just when I turned to leave, I heard a soft voice behind me.

“Helen!” I turned swiftly and look in the direction. It was Sandra, my classmate. I beamed with joy seeing her and walked to her as fast as I could. She stood up from her table, her expression clearly showed that her heart was filled with joy seeing me too, she rushed down and gave me a hug.

Sandra was the only person in my school that I was close to. We have been on talking terms since my first year but have never been this close until the start of summer break. When I met her at a coffee shop, I went to apply for a job since I lost the previous one. She was there for the same purpose. After the encounter, we became friends and co-workers in the coffee shop.

Her story was similar to mine, which made us become closer. She was an orphan
