In a cold lit cell, I was left to rot for eternity until I would be brought before the council. I had taken all the blame to keep my brother safe. He wasn't the kind I could let go through pain.

He had already had his own piece of pain by carrying the hidden truth on his shoulders for so long. If I had been with him all the time, if I had shared his burden, if I had made him realize that life wasn't all about revenge then maybe he would have lived a good life while growing up.

"Ah, here really suits you, you should have been in it in the beginning," Dennis' mother clawed her nails on the cell rods making screeching sounds that affected my ears.

"You finally got what you wanted so don't rob it too much or you will lose it," I mocked her but she only smirked and looked away.

"My sons were deceived in the beginning because of your lies. I hope you get to tell them the real truth behind that scandal you had created, and tell them you had planned it to get them on your goddamn
