Dennis POV

After teleporting with Ethan to the prison where Cassandra was kept, I sensed something was off. The entire guards were nowhere to be found and mostly, Cass was in the place she was locked up.

It really hurt me to know that she was in a place like this and all I could do was prove her innocence. Although my brothers and I were Alphas, we still had to play by the council's rules. It was an old law of the pack to try those involved in the act of felony.

"What's going on?," I grabbed one of the prisoner threatening him to speak.

"The lady that was brought in collapsed after a witchy woman visited. Their clash of words was an epic show. The young miss must have really pissed the older lady," he explained finding the matter amusing.

My mother had visited Cass and caused her trouble even after locking her up.

"Let's leave and do the talking as well before we find your sister," I told Ethan trudging out of the cell ground.
