Devin' POV:

Brooklyn was shocked, her eyes were wide open and filled with disbelief.

"So, the reason you're away from me is just because of Brooklyn's business?"

"Yes." I couldn't wait to answer, wanting her to further confirm my sincerity.

"Then why are you suddenly saying...... those words again?"

"Because I realized that I can't live without you."

I reached out and took the astonished Brooklyn into my arms.

"I'm afraid of losing you."
