The beeping noises softly reaching her ear woke Emilia.
As she slowly blinked her eyes open, she had to re-adjust her sight to the light in the room. She could hear the noise near her right, and there was a stinging pain in her forehead as well as her wrists.
Looking down, she realized that it was IV drips.
For a quick moment, she wondered why she was here. Her medications for maintenance helped her keep her health in check, and she was quite fine and healthy.
"What..." she muttered. Her confusion was eminent as she continued to look around. The reason why she was here, or what happened.
But then everything slowly came back to her, one by one.
The explosion, the fire, the burning. The employees. Alvaro. Alvaro panicking and driving away. Marco telling her that everything is going to be fine. The drive to the hospital.
