Chapter Sixty-Five

By the next week, Cat had settled in to Alex and Rebecca’s house over the last few days. She had also started working at Alex’s company as a junior executive. It was fun learning new things and helped to keep her mind off her personal problems.

Tonight was the Charity ball Allison was hosting in the name of Logan holdings. Rebecca had taken Cat shopping at a very expensive designer pregnancy store in Sydney. She had let Rebecca help her choose her dress.

Cat stood in front of her mirror in her bedroom. Turning this way and that. Surprised at how great the red scarlet dress looked on her. Cat hadn’t gained much weight other than her belly. She knew it was partly because she was having twins and a lot of energy went into feeding them.
