Chapter 29: Tiresome

I kept my head down while Hunter and I ate brunch with his relatives. I couldn't look up again. Because the last time I did it, I met his aunt's arched eyebrows.

The smell of my cooked beef stew wafted through the air. Before we came here, Hunter bought a universal ingredients for any dish that we can cook. Even if I wanted to eat a lot, I was ashamed. I mean, Hunter's aunt was staring at me. Anyone in my position would prefer to lock themselves in the room rather than feel her sharp eyes.

I just quietly eat little by little. I made three dishes. It's just a simple dish but it's delicious, like me — just kidding. Chicken cordon bleu, beef stew, and fish fillet. I don't know what dish Hunter's relatives like.

So I just prepared the easy to cook. Felix seems to like it because I keep hearing compliments from him as well as from Hunter. Don't ask if I heard a compliment from his aunt.
