Chapter 30: Future Daughter In-Law

It was late when I woke up. Exactly six o'clock. I didn't even get up from lying in bed. I yawned and looked at my surroundings. The lamp on the table placed on the right side of the room is already lit.

When I glanced behind me, the window was left open. With the force of the wind outside it blows the curtain and hangs freely with every gust of wind. I got up from bed and closed the window.

I put on the slippers. That's when I realized that my knee had regained full strength.

I took a deep breath and left the room. I closed the door softly and looked around the house. Countless candles were lit to light up the house. There are only five lamps here so it has limited space.
