When Reginald told me of his plans, they made some sense to me. However thinking about what Levi would say if he heard that i plotted with him scared me.

I have been ruminating on it since morning. "Should I go with him?" I sit at the ample pillared iron wrought verandah holding a magazine. My mind is weighing the odds of the plans and i am stuck on the first page i opened thirty minutes ago.

The local magazine contained hot gossips from different families in the Park. Those who couldn't meet up with their spouse's demands, those who found pleasure in having many sex partners, those who had family issues were not spared.

Gossips like this frequented guest houses and other social gatherings. Most times, friends were the ones who spread such gossips. It could be as a result of a quarrel they had had with the person in particular.
