"Someone's outside," Erin said as she pushed open my door.

My brow furrowed. "Who?"

I didn’t wait for her answer. I stood up from my bed to see what she was talking about. I've kind of learned how to get by for the past few days. That night, when Erin cried in my arms, that became my awakening. I realized that my life doesn’t revolve around just me.
