Andrew's POV

I nearly choked on my food when Emily; well….. My stepmom asked me to invite Brielle for dinner again. I don't know why she is trying so hard. If it's to win me over then she should stop disturbing herself. It will never happen.

I glanced at Camilla to see her mindlessly staring at her food without eating. She doesn't look happy when her mom said I should invite Brielle over. I smirked thinking of how I will taunt her with it so I decided to play along. “Sure, she would really love it. I will let her know.” her eyes darted around the room trying so hard not to look at me.

Then she pushed her plate and announced that she was going to study. I thought she won't be job hunting now, not unless she is going to read. Now I am curious as to what type of books she loves to read. Immediately she left the table, I also pushed my plate away since I am almost done anyway.

“Ohhh, Andrew; you are done? You don't want more?” Emily asked while my dad was just staring me down.
