Forty Two

Lucian stood at the far end of the sea as he watched Frederick drive off.

He sighed loudly and rubbed his tired eyes then turned back to face the sea, the cool breeze sweeping through his face and ruffling his hair.

"I don't know how long I will keep stalking you but if something is not done soon, I will let the cat out of the bag. I am tired of waiting."

He muttered then took a long breath to calm himself. His phone started ringing and he picked it up.

"Yes? I am on my way"

He pocketed his phone, strolled to where he parked his motorbike and mounted it then zoomed off.

Kristen looked through the window and smiled softly. This was probably the best day of her life so far. She couldn't help but think how happy she is right now.

"Could life be fair enough to give me happy more days"
