Chapter 8:

I don't know what the video is about, but I know Serena's intentions. Video is not a good thing. But I'm curious why Charles chose me. From the very beginning, there was something that I didn't know about.

If I watch the video, my relationship with Charles may end. I hesitated all night. It wasn't until I got a call from Charles asking me to go to breakfast I knew I'd been up all night.

I put on light makeup and walked out of the room. I had breakfast with Charles, but I couldn't laugh with him. I keep remembering that video. During class, I couldn't concentrate. I decided to ask Charles to go to an empty place.

“I have a video on my device. Can you watch it with me?”

Charles sensed that I was not in a good mood today. He nervously looked at the phone in my hand.

“What video? Where did you get this video?”

Charle reached out to take my phone, but I quickly stopped him.

“A friend sent it to me. Sit down and watch with me."
