Chapter 6: Bad boy confessing

I took Charles to a small dinner. There's something I like here. The place where Charles used to go was the high-end restaurant. Charles felt alienated from the small diner scene.

"If you don't like it, you can leave."

Charles looked at me and smiled. He didn't say anything and followed me inside. I chose a portion of Pot Roast. Charles chose a portion of Tacos.

We chose a large table to sit down at. There are only a few people in the shop. The space is peaceful with some concert music.

"Do you often come to this place for dinner?"

“Usually, I will come here on weekends to eat. Every Sunday, my father and I eat Pot Roast with me.”

“Your family is so happy.”

I used to think Charles was a young master of a wealthy family. He didn't have to worry about anything since childhood. But it seems that the rich are not necessarily happy.

I wanted to ask Charles more about his situation. But I suddenly remembered that we didn't seem very familiar. I'm not his best friend, and I'm not even his lover. I asked him about his family, and it was not very polite.

"Don't you want to know my story?"

I didn't answer Charles, continuing to eat the food on my plate. He was not angry. He silently ate his portion of cake.

After dinner, he always followed me behind. Until I got safely back to the dorm. When I got to my room, I looked out the window. I saw him leave.

Charles is a bad boy, but he treats me well. Why?

This problem made me think all night without knowing the answer. Serena doesn't look for me to cause trouble anymore. My life is peaceful again.

Every day Charles thing follows me. This makes me feel happy. Since when have I been moved by Charles' kindness? I don't know.

I gradually got used to Charles's presence. Every night I go out with him, have dinner together.

It's a beautiful Sunday. The sun is warm through the leaves. The morning, Charles arrived at the dormitory gate waiting for me.

“Jenny, will you go out with me today?”

Charles always respects my opinion. If I refuse, he won't force me.

"Where to go."

“A very nice place.”

Out of curiosity, I followed Charles. He drove a motorbike to take me to a suburban area. The forest in autumn has turned a beautiful golden color. It's chilly. Charles takes my hand. Every word he said made my heart flutter.

“Jenny, I love you. Can you be my girlfriend?"

In the face of Charles' confession, I hesitated.

"Do you love me?"

Charles laughed his smile a little sad.

"I know I'm bad. But Jenny, to me, you are a special person. I don't see you as a bed friend. I worry every time you're in danger. Maybe I don't know what love is. But I think my love is you."

Charles was a handsome man. He comes from a wealthy family. His future and career are wide open. Many girls want to be his lover. Everyone said it's not unusual for Charles to change a girlfriend every day.

He took the girls out, then led them into the hotel, eventually breaking up. Love was something that didn't exist for Charles.

Now Charles is confessing to me again. A person who doesn't know what love is claimed I am his love. Charles's handsome face carried the expectation of looking at me. My heart fluttered violently. How should I choose? Rejecting him to be safe as a normal student. Or should I risk accepting Charles' love and then live in low anxiety full of arousal with the love of a bad boy?

Charles will give me love as beautiful as a fairy tale. Or will he leave me after he goes to bed with me the way he abandoned the girls he used to know?

I hesitated, but in the end, I decided to go closer to Charles. I'm currently like a moth plunging headlong into the flames. Charles' love will be the warm fire that can burn my little heart.

I decided to take a risk. My first love would be given to Charles. I gently kissed his sexy lips. Charles knew I had agreed to be his girlfriend. Charles happily hugged me tightly, the kiss carrying a friendly edge.

I have a boyfriend for the first time. He's a bad boy. I was like a little rabbit that offered itself to the mouth of the wolf. My innocence is the exact opposite of his mastery.

Charles led me to a mansion. This place is his private home.

“I often come here during summer vacation. Do you like this place?”

I was a little worried. Did Charles want to sleep with me? Will my love for him end quickly?

“The forest in autumn looks so beautiful.”

Charles took me to the dining room. We had lunch together. In the evening, Charles took me to a room where the moonlight could be seen in the night sky. He prepares a hearty table with romantic candlelight. Is this dating? I never had a boyfriend before I met Charles and never knew happy on a first date. Charles' actions made my heart flutter, but I was also worried.

It all caught me by surprise. After dinner, Charles wanted to talk to me. I told him about my daily life with my father. Charles listened intently, occasionally uttering a few words of admiration for my joyful life. At this point, I hesitantly asked about his life. I don't think a wealthy person like Charles would admire the life of a normal girl like me.

The candlelight flickered, and the space was plunged into darkness. Here thousands of beautiful stars can be seen in the vast sky. Charles' voice carried sadness.

"As a child, I always thought my parents loved each other very much. My father treated my mother very well. But by the time I was ten years old. My father feuded with a gangster. He fled without informing my mother. The bad guys came to my house. They killed my mother."
