The day was rather chilly. Ruby hadn’t paid attention to the weather forecasters but it was a good thing her mother always ensured she had a big breakfast and she was ready to start the day. There was a long line of people at the cafe when Ruby got in. It was typical, it was lunch break and she had very much expected it.
