Well, scratch what I said about everything going back to normal, because it didn't.

It did to an extent though, if you'd include cuddling a vampire prince on a Thursday night, binge-watching my favorite movie, while eating popcorn.

“Poor Kelvin,” I snuggled against Zeke's chest, pushing back my tears. That had to be the 47th time I was watching Home Alone, yet each time felt like new.

“Is there something to like about this particular movie?” He asked, his disinterest clearly showing. “For kids.” He added.

I pushed off his chest, and glowered at him. “I'm going to tolerate every disrespect, but if you insult my favorite movie one more time, get ready to bid your balls goodbye.”

He chuckled, raising both hands in mock surrender. “Sorry,” he mouthed.

I harrumphed and took my place again, while stifling a smile. The past few weeks had been a blur of dates, sex, work, and more sex.
