Kyle's POV

I hissed at the sight before me. I almost thought she saw me, but it appeared she was distracted from staring at Devon. Satisfaction isn't the exact word to describe just how happy I feel for her fall; serves her right to daydream about another man when she has a mate.

Turning away hurriedly, I walked down the hallway to the study. Appears the fall sprained her ankle; I won't be surprised if I see myself heading towards her. It's annoying to see Devon all over her for such a mere fall.

I leaned back into the chair the moment I got into the room. I tried to get the thoughts of Aria off my head; she had occupied my entire thoughts since last night. I feel so disappointed in myself for going after her like someone who has lost his mind. To make matters worse, I didn't exactly respond to Barrin's call, which definitely would trigger some confrontation this morning. I have no idea if I am ready to answer to him.
