Aria's POV

My eyes twitched rapidly; I couldn't seem to get the hang of whatever Cassandra was saying. I took a few steps back. "why should I stay away from him? He is my friend." 

"Someone like you shouldn't be anything to my son, not a friend or foe. That can't work." 

"Why?" 

"Stop asking me!" She yelled in my face. "You make it sound like you are in an actual place to ask me such an absurd question. I have never seen my son act this way before; he practically moans your name in his sleep. This is when he is meant to explore a different part of himself while on break from the pack duties, get a woman of his choice and probably get married. I mean, live his life to the fullest if you don't understand." 

My eyes bulged out, lost and confused. "What has that got to do with me?"

"I don't know what you have done to enchant him, but my boy won't be at your mercy. He shouldn't be found with someone like you."
