Aria's POV...

I ran with every strength I possessed, even though no one was on my tail. Staying one more day in that packhouse will make me change my mind. Kyle's exceptional sweetness, as of late, scares me. I find myself giggling whenever I remember his reaction towards me. And last night was amazing; I woke up feeling whole. But I know it would be disturbing to rely on his flimsy affection. It can switch in a second.

Taking a deep breath, I paused in my running. I don't want to exhaust Noel, just in case I need more of her energy soon.
