Barrin stared at the table, fading out of the discussion. The pack's council aren't finding Kyle's absence funny; despite his attempts to cover up on his behalf, it still wasn't enough. They seem to take his absence as a disregard for them. The Alpha isn't supposed to leave his office empty without prior notice.
"You all must understand that he is out for a very important duty," Barrin said, trying to sound convincing.The head of the omega clan gave him a tilted look, "how is it that we are unaware of this sort of duty?
