Aria's POV...

I never thought a day like this would come when Barrin and I would see eye to eye without having to growl at each other. I have been quite bothered about him lately, considering the new development between Kyle and I. Just like my friends have advised, I have also come to realize there are some situations in our lives that one can't control.

"This sandwich tastes really nice," I said in a muffled tone.

Barrin laughed, "I knew you would like it. Kyle, Devon and I frequently visited this place when we were younger. Despite the tough rules used to confine us, we always snuck out in the end. We got away with it for a year, though we had become invincible. However, Cassandra caught us and didn't hesitate to report."

I laughed heartily, "why did you need to sneak out? Weren't you old enough to go out on your own?"

"The three of us were to become future leaders in the Moonstone pack. It was just our parent's way of protecting us from harm."
