Chapter forty-two
Abbigail's POV
Tammy called me after Alexis passed out after her ultrasound. She said that Shawn went into a trance and wasn't responding to her voice. Melanie was there when Tammy told me what happened on speaker and her eyes fill with tears. All she had to say was "Iraq" and I knew Shawn was having a PTSD attack.
I ask our sisters for a ride to the hospital and Melanie stayed with the others. When we got to the hospital a nurse brought me to the room where Shawn, Alexis and Tammy were. Alexis was still asleep in the examination chair and Shawn was sitting up against a wall with Tammy still trying to break her out of trance.
I kneel the best I could in front of Shawn and caress her face in my hands. I meet her eyes and saw that she was ready to lose it. Something happened in Iraq that set her off when Alexis collapsed in Shawn's arms.

Hello fellow readers! I just wanted to announce that I have a second book coming out soon :). For those of you who have enjoyed Fated Love you're going to enjoy Soulmates. I would love to hear any feedback as long as it's not rude. I know I have typos and plan to fix them later. Soulmates so far has four chapters. I will be writing both books at the same time. Shawn's POV Melanie and I installed cameras around the house. The police department has direct access to the feed, should there ever be an intruder while we're working, a car will be dispatched immediately. I'm not taking any risks of Greg showing up and harming anyone while I'm not there to protect them. It's been a few weeks and thankfully he hasn't tried anything.
