Chapter 68

It is wrong to build hatred towards your mother just because she forgets to tell you a story of the kingdom of the Southeast. I hated to admit, but that's what I felt right now. I didn't know what was my mother's reason for not telling me about it.

Mom just maybe forgot about it. It's not serious and I wanted to believe myself that my mother just forgot it, but my heart felt the opposite way. My face reddened because of what he did and I immediately turned my head away. Jace and I have been together for how many weeks, but I still can't prevent myself from feeling ashamed of him. His presence was like making my body so weak.
