Chapter One Hundred and One

Lilith's POV

I skip breakfast to go for a walk within the protection of the trees.

Last night's sleep was for fall and full of bad dreams after bad dreams, but amongst those dreams, I came to a very realisation: I haven't spoken to Abyss in a long time.

I need help pinpointing the exact amount of days.

Though I can remember she was encouraging me to fight Damian off, but soon after, she disappeared, and I hadn't noticed she had gone.

I was too preoccupied, and I feel... empty, lonely, uninhabited even.

I hadn't noticed how used to having her around before. It was as if she were my best friend and confidant; now she's just gone. Poof.

Will I ever speak to her again?

Did she disappear for a reason?

My walk does nothing for my mood; it sours with the thoughts that I'll be alone for eternity without the wolf I was bonded to.
