Renee's POV Joey gave me a small smile as he walked over. He was still very cautious bringing his hands forward to hand me the rags. I slowly walked over and raised my hands to take the rags. Renee's POVI instinctively put my hands out to protect myself from Joey in wolf form. He jumped out the window after me and I could tell we were going to collide.His neck got caught on the chain of the shackles holding his head away from me. Renee’s POV I had the strangest dream. I was in a small village; I am guessing it was some time in 1800's based on the clothing I and the people around me were wearing. I was walking towards the edge of town. I kept turning my head back as if I was making sure I wasn't followed. It was dusky outside and the sun was almost down. Renee's POV Ethan scooped me off the bed and brought us into the bathroom. I was still filthy, and my dirty clothes were still on me, with the addition of a hospital gown now tied to my top half. Renee's POV I am still holding my fingers to Ethan's temples. Focusing on transferring the last of the memories of my escape, before I made it back to him. It been about five minutes since we began. Memory transfers play out much faster than you actually living them. The downside is you can experience a lot of emotions in just a few minutes time. It can definitely take a toll on you or, so I have been told. I wasn’t even sure if this would work, but I am relieved that it is. Memory links are similar to mind links except they can only be shared between mates. I finish the transfer with me going through the barrier and then I hold my breath and lean away from his face watching him intently waiting for him to come out of my memories. I start second guessing myself and this decision. What if I transferred too much, it was a lot to process. He was still in a daze.
