Renee's POV

I am still holding my fingers to Ethan's temples. Focusing on transferring the last of the memories of my escape, before I made it back to him. It been about five minutes since we began.

Memory transfers play out much faster than you actually living them. The downside is you can experience a lot of emotions in just a few minutes time. It can definitely take a toll on you or, so I have been told. I wasn’t even sure if this would work, but I am relieved that it is. Memory links are similar to mind links except they can only be shared between mates.

I finish the transfer with me going through the barrier and then I hold my breath and lean away from his face watching him intently waiting for him to come out of my memories. I start second guessing myself and this decision. What if I transferred too much, it was a lot to process. He was still in a daze. I start scooting off his lap scared that I had hurt him somehow.
