Alpha Renee's POV

"Alpha Renee speaking" I stated after picking up the office phone.

"Yes, Renee this is Elder Chase, I called to inform you there was a rogue attack on Grey Lake."

"How many causalities?" I responded

"Luckily none, as of right now, but five are severely wounded, and a total of sixty three wounded in total."

I slumped into the office chair and brought my gaze to meet Ethan's I knew he could hear our conversation and he walked around the desk and laid his hands on my shoulder comforting me.

"Enemy causalities? Do you have any prisoners? Why did they attack?" I questioned. I was happy no one in Grey Lake died but sixty-five to be counted as wounded meant it was a hell of a fight. In order for wolves to require medical attention the condition has to be pretty severe, and you aren't healing fast enough for the number of injuries you are receiving.
