Chapter 66

Alpha Renee's POV

I was shocked to see Ethan barreling towards me with no warning. I tried to mind link him but hit a wall. He was too close I didn't have time to dodge. This is going to hurt is all I could think as I leaned back and brought my hands up to try to soften the blow. I instinctively closed my eyes, but nothing happened. He should have hit me by now I popped open one of my eyes to see Ethan flying through the air and impacting a tree.

I looked down at my hands in wonder still trying to figure out my gift. I didn't have long to think about it, Ethan had already recovered and was charging towards me again. He was so fast for something so large he was truly something to behold. I waited until the last second and dodged out of the way.

He turned quickly coming at me again. When he was almost on me, I ducked low his front paws went past me so that I was under his wolf's belly. I stood up quickly throwing him to the side but in the process one of his claws grazed my back and s
