Capturing A Rogue Wolf

"What do you want?" I mustered the courage to let out those words even if my mouth was already dehydrated.

Part of me wanted to turn around to see the man's face. However, I guess it will be better this way when my wolf already gets scared enough.

"Did you and that woman get home safe last night?" he asked, but my wolf doesn't know if I am obliged to answer his question. "Answer me!" he exclaimed, this time, his voice was mixed with growls.

"Yes. We got home safely last night." I could not help but clench my fist when my heart and brain agreed on one thing - to run away as fast as my feet can.

Unfortunately, the idea did not harmonize with my body as it remained as hard as steel. "Where is she right now?" he asked again.
