The Truth Behind Lies

The worst part is that it was just the two of us in the middle of the woods. Our last encounter with a monster was with my stepbrother. If it was the same monster, I'm afraid there is only one solution for us to stay alive - to run as far away as possible and as fast as our wolves can.

As I was about to reach Felise's hand, a huge black buffalo was making its way toward the deer, its predatory instincts activated.

Felise looked at me in surprise, communicating with me silently. She knew what she must do. Felise prepared her claws and fangs, and with powerful yet graceful strides, she made her way toward the buffalo and deer.
