My life had been one rollercoaster after another ever since I found out the truth of who and what I was.

Mom was the sweetest person that you could have ever met. She was a unique type of witch who had access to powerful spirit magic. Not all who died moved onto the spirit realm within the realms of their creators and instead walked the Earth behind a normally invisible veil. Those who wielded her type of magic could see beyond that veil.

Unfortunately, she died when I was fourteen. She was killed, but I never figured out who did it. After her death, I found a letter that she had written to me.
