When I watched Chris writhing in pain as he curled into a ball on the cold concrete floor that used to basically be my sister's prison, I was worried.

Not for him, I could care less about the pain he was experiencing after what he did to my sister, no I was worried because if he was feeling what I prayed he wasn't, it could mean that someone was hurting Dahlia.

My heart thundered in my chest, blood rushing through my ears blocking out any true hearing as Tyr howled deeply in my mind showing his own agony.

What if someone was causing her pain, hurting her. It's only been a week and I don't see her giving herself to someone else so easily.

Of course, I could be wrong. Look at what she had gone through. If I had to deal with what she did, with this asshat, I may be willing to be with someone else. She did break her side of their bond so any feelings she may have been holding onto for him are gone.
