Forty Five.

Lilah

Snare paces back and forth, muttering to himself. I had no idea what he was saying. The sounds just merged together, like a baby trying to figure out how to talk. He hasn’t answered my question and I don’t push him on it either. Anything could tip him over the edge.

“You think you have it all worked out, don’t you, my little Lilah!”

“I am not your Lilah. I am no ones Lilah.”

“Ah, finally coming to your senses are you? Finally understanding that you don’t belong to him?”

“I have never belonged to anybody.”

“You see,” He comes to a stop and rounds on me, “That thing, that mark on your neck would suggest otherwise.”

My hand covers the red crescent as he glares at me. “It’s not like I can cut it off, is it?”

“We can always try.” He takes a step towards me, backing me into a tree. I had nowhere to go. Nowhere to run without him getting his hands on me.

“Where is he?” I ask again.

“Somewhere safe.” He beams at me as if he had answered my question. “But let’s not talk about hi

If the dna says the percentage is that low, then Snare cannot be Colt’s half sibling. It’d be higher than 1%. So twisted

It sounds like he didn't know he had been impersonated by snare. he just figured after being with ger for 2 years, he had impregnated her. Plus, snare and him are related, so I'm sure visually there are similarities. Although in other stories, lycans and wolves can sense their children so ...

So far so good . Keeping me on my toes totally enjoying this story. Just wish they wouldn't make the woman seem so weak.
