“Kaitlin?”

Daphne nods her head. Her eyes flickering between me and Linc. Between my mate having some sort of panic attack and Daphne telling me to keep an eye on Kaitlin, I let out a sigh of frustration.

I look at Linc and he shrugs his shoulders. I had so many questions but my biggest one was about Grant. Why the hell was he here?

Lilah has her face buried against my chest.

“Hormones?” Linc mutters through a mindlink

“Maybe!” I mutter back. It had been a long time since I had been around anyone carrying pups and it seemed like we were all in for a few surprises.

“Daphne. What do you mean by me keeping an eye on Kaitlin?”

“I spoke to her. She… Well it wasn’t what she said but more to do with her body language. She isn’t happy about Lilah. She was trying to become my friend but not in a charming way.” She tuts, shaking her head. “She just…. Just don’t trust her Alpha Colt.”

I’m hoping it’s Kaitlin but I think Magnus might be involved. He’s too friendly and he seems to always come up with the answers. Hmmm could he be the witch in disguise?
