Chapter Fifteen

A new room-mate.

We head back to base and I’m silent the entire drive. I’m both angry and embarrassed. Angry that Saskia has gone out of her way to make things even more difficult for me here and embarrassed that I, yet again, let her get to me. As the car pulls up to the base entrance I hastily unfasten my seat belt and practically run out from the vehicle.

“Thank you both for today. I’m going to head back to my quarters for a bit.”

“Okay!” Tucker responded. He knew I needed time by myself right now.

“Aida wait!” Axel shouts after me.

I zone everyone and everything out. I’m currently going into survival mode, just until I make it back to Building B, when I can let out my anger and frustration. If I do it in front of the Lycans they’ll see me as a threat and take me down. I’ve heard she-Lycans are in better control of their emotions than she-wolves. Plus, if I see Spike and he makes another comment, I may just end of throttling him.

As soon as I enter Building B, I close the door
