POV

I stand with the rest of the station, we all here to support Beckett. The waiting room filled with firefighters, we all filled with the smell of smoke and dirty from the ash, but we couldn’t care less.

I bite my thumb nail, the stress of not knowing what’s going on with Beckett is getting to me, I couldn’t stop the tears from falling.

I want Beckett to be alright so we can be together. I couldn’t help but think whether his girlfriend is with his parents. I couldn’t help but wonder if his parents approve of her, whether she has lunch and dinners with them. If Damon, Beckett’s older brother likes her, he is hard to please is what I’ve heard from Anastasia. He likes Ana but if he doesn’t like someone he wouldn’t give them the time of day.
