Marienne's Pov

From what I could see it's been days since I have been trapped here. The guards were inhumane, mostly the rouges, they forced me to eat rotten food and hit me when they came close enough.

I haven't seen Delaney since the day She paid me a visit here. It's like she had abandoned me here.

I yearn for the day when I will be free, I knew my mates will go miles to get me out of here and I knew they were into it already, my guess is the rouges probably wanted me here to be able to control me.

In my cell, I couldn't tell day from night. All I did was clung to memories, every time I closed my eyes I remembered my mother. Her warm smile that seemed to lit the room, and the way we spent the night laughing together and sharing stories.

Before life at the castle. Their only issue back in my old life was to keep food on the table as I usually worked day and night for that purpose.
