Marienne's Pov The following morning I woke up in a cozy bed,in the camp feeling disoriented yet strangely at peace. Blinking my eyes in the soft morning light, I stretched my limbs and yawned, relishing the sensation of being well-rested. I felt good finally able to sleep in a bed, then the cold bloody ground of the dungeon. The exhaustion must have taken a toll on me, and it is all but a distant memory now.OkAs I climbed out of bed, I realized that it was already afternoon.
