After saying goodbye to Ash, we all made our way out of the forest. She hadn't changed a bit in all these years. "It's nice to have friends you can rely on." I found myself saying.

"That's true." Lisa confirmed.

I looked at Marc, who was visibly upset that Marc was trying to help us. But that's how werewolves are. Insecure and jealous. I doubt there's much he can do about it. As long as he keeps his feelings in check, I'm not too worried. What worried me more was the plan Ash and I had hatched. I wasn't going to risk Lisa's life like that. But I didn't want these children to live a life of secrecy like I did. You can't run away from problems, misery and pain, no matter how far you run or how long you run.
