Veronica paid the driver and we all got out of the car. Some of the older guards in the lobby seemed to recognize Veronica. With pity in their eyes, they simply stepped aside. Everyone there knew Marc. Veronica entered the building and everyone followed her. The lobby had a reception, seating, a grand piano and a small fountain.
