Chapter 51

Kaylee pov

Liz is moving Aron's unconscious body when she starts to work on his back and look for bullet holes. I just look at her and can't move from my spot.

"Come here and help me roll him around, we have to get these out. Now, Kaylee," she says to me when I slowly move over to his body.

Squatting down bedside, I look at her when I don't think I can touch him. I'm not even sure why I bother to save him. After everything he has done, I shouldn't care at all, then why do I?

"Here, hold him here, and I will try to dig out the one in his shoulder first, then we roll him onto his back and look at the front," Liz says, pointing where I should hold him, and I have to take a deep breath before I do as she says.
