Dane pov

He sits in the back seat and moves a bit of her blond hair from her face, she looks like an angel with her innocence, and from everything she told me in the kitchen, I know that's just what she is.

"I know what's at stake here, but marking her and taking that decision away from her isn't an option," I say to him after some time. She deserves to decide what she wants for herself, not have it taken away from her.

"Do you?" Aron snaps back at me, and I shift gear to drive past another car, we can't get there fast enough.

"Yes, I do! But taking the choice away from her won't make it any better." I calmly say to him while speeding on the road. I understand what Alora's thoughts about it were, but that's not right.
