Back home, Collins knocked on Miranda's door.

"What now?" She snapped as she opened the door and saw him.

He hesitated for a while before speaking, "Miranda, I just want to say that I am grateful because I have a lot of happy memories of us. I know that I'm saying goodbye right now, but it's very difficult, it's so hard Miranda and I...."

She slammed the door on his face before he finished speaking. Just as she began going to her bed to lie down, she heard a knock on her door again.

She gritted her teeth, before opening the door, ready to yell. However, the person she saw was not Collins but Mel.

"Mel!" She exclaimed and hugged her.

"I'm so sorry I didn't come back after dropping you off, yesterday," Mel told her. "Something happened to my mom and after I got the call, I had to run back home."

"I am so sorry about that," Miranda told her. "How is she?"

"She's better now," Mel said and Miranda heaved a sigh of relief.
