As Your Wish, My Lady

“The young master is in his room. This way please.“

The man in his mid-thirty guided Rosetta, Flora, and Alden in. Her rest of the unit is waiting outside.

“Thanks, Rowson,” replied Rosetta, raising a nice smile.

They passed through the long halls of the front castle building. Turning and heading east where Lucas’s workroom is.

Rosetta threw a stare in the backyard of a building visible from the window. From here she can see a flower garden and a moment where remembered as her kiss and dance with Lucas.

The feeling of shame but joy is pumping inside the inside of Rosetta’s chest. Unconsciously smiling stupidly alone. Good thing nobody’s watching.

The door to Lucas’s workroom was made of mahogany, towering before Rosetta. Rowson knocks three times before entering. After saying a few words, Rowson let Rosetta in. This time without Flora and Alden.

“Good morning, My Lord,” said Rosetta curtsey.

Lucas smiled to see the fiance coming. Accustomed to her sudden arrival. He placed paper and pens on the table, stood up, and went over to Rosetta.

“It’s good to see you here, Rosetta,” Lucas says as he slips the red hair behind her ear. While taking the opportunity to wipe the girl’s cheek, giving her a warm kiss on the forehead.

There was no one in that five-meter-wide workroom. Gives both the privacy they need. Even the people at the castle aren’t surprised that Lucas and Rosetta did something else there.

Rosetta and Lucas sat side by side on a lumpy, dark-brown sofa in front of a workbench. That brown-eyed girl looked at her lover and for a while, her excitement turned bitter. Remembering a hunch she had in a dream.

“So, what brings my Beautiful Red Rose here?” asked Lucas. Featuring a sweet smile.

It feels every drop of blood in the inside of Rosetta rush when that golden-haired young man calls her a Rose. It’s a nickname Rosetta called in the noble community.

Rosetta floundering. Now is not the time to be captivated by her fiance’s charms. She didn’t come for the usual cuddling.

“You want to come to debutante?“ asked Rosetta matter-of-factly.

“You still thinking about it? I'll come, Rosetta,” the crave notification is Lucas’s answer. He’s clapping and giving code to outside maids.

A few seconds later, the door opened and a maid pushed an aluminum table in. She poured out a favorite Earl Grey tea of that couple sitting on the sofa and then backed out.

“Calm yourself, Rosetta. I’m not gonna turn my back on another girl.“ Lucas took one of the mugs and gave it to Rosetta.

“Bu–But ...,” Rosetta lamented. Taking a cup and watching her reflection on the surface of the tea. “I’m scared.”

 “Gosh.”

Lucas wiped the red hair of Rosetta with emotion and then cradled Marquess’s daughter's waist. Took her a closer seat. Rosetta put down the cup, hugged Lucas back. Leaning against that young man’s chest.

So much love does she have that even the smallest thing a dream can affect her mind. That’s Rosetta.

Rosetta got the idea. She stretched out her arms and then looked at Lucas again in intense amazement.

“Then I want us to go to the Capital together!” said Rosetta. Implied that she did not accept rejection.

“Even in the Capital, I want to stay at the Duke mansion!” She added.

Lucas raised his eyebrows, silent two minutes after hearing his beloved’s abrupt request. Then sigh and wipe the cheek of Rosetta again.

 “As your wish, My Lady."
