26: Bar (Part 3)

CHRISTY:

There was a lingering feeling that someone was watching me as I continued dancing to the bet. Men's eyes were on me, but I did not care. Someone tried to dance with me. The guy earlier. That was Rick, right? But I disregarded him and went to dance on my own.

They said dancing is one of the best forms of exercise and they were not mistaken at all. Sweat was dripping from my forehead and my blouse was nearly soaked from dancing. It was a good decision to say that I should be bringing extra clothes.

Rick was suddenly in front of me with his sickening smile.

I tried to tell him a couple of times to back off, saying I had no plans of being in another company, but he would not listen to me and continued to approach me like a dog.

If I was not married, we would have long gone to the bathroom and did who knows what.
