Alpha Leo’s POV

“Do you need anything else?” The maid asked, holding a tray in her hands.

I looked around, and for now, it didn't seem like I’d need the use of anything else that wasn’t already present in the dining.

Nothing was ever found lacking when it came to my meals.

I picked up a chilled glass of water, which was directly in front of me, and I stood up, holding the glass in my hands.

But suddenly felt an intense fear grip me as I fidgeted, and the cup immediately slipped off my hands, shattering on the floor. I was drawn back to reality when the maids rushed to clean up the mess on the floor.

I immediately turned to look at Theo.

“Did you feel that?” I asked urgently.

“Yes, I did.” He said, standing up from his chair.
