ADRIENNE’S POV

I pretend to clear my throat before I finally speak up.

“Sorry, I was caught off-guard. He didn’t give me heads up that our relationship was going public. He could be irrational at times.”

I currently had a fake smile plastered on my face while hoping my acting skills didn’t disappoint me.

“Are you kidding me?” Camille gives a short laugh in disbelief.
