Chapter 26

The next day Emma needed to send Miles to school as he was already running behind in his school curriculum. She got up from the bed inside the room alone. Damien wasn't around and that made her sigh in relief as she looked at the time. Shit!

She rushed to Miles's room and opened the door. Miles was brushing his teeth in the bathroom under the watch of Sarah. Emma reached the bathroom and sighed in relief. She smiled and hugged Sarah from behind.

Sarah gasped suddenly before she chuckled. "Good morning my dear" Sarah greeted politely. Emma smiled and hugged her tightly. "Good morning dear Sarah".

Emma had already began to see Sarah as her mother. She was the only one who cared for her and sometimes saved her from Damien's wrath. She really admired her and thanked the heavens for having Sarah with her.

Miles finished before getting into the shower which Sarah turned on. Miles jumped and giggled and the drops of cold water rained down his body. Emma and Sarah laughed at him. "Hurry up
