"It will be all expenses paid. You know the life insurance that my aunt and uncle had will pay out a hefty sum. It will be enough to cover travel expenses as well as accommodation and food for the three of us. Just say yes," Warren said as he tried to convince Samuel and Henry to join him.

"Are the girls in Wellington pretty?" Samuel joked.

"The prettiest in the world. That much I can guarantee," Warren said. 

The three of them burst out into laughter. It was good for Samuel to see his friend trying to keep it together. He was worried that the pain would change Warren. 

Warren's laughter soon turned solemn. He looked at Samuel with tears forming in his eyes. Although he tried to remain strong, the wound in his heart was too deep.
